Jacobs Vehicle Systems® (JVS), the world’s leading manufacturer of diesel and natural gas engine retarding systems and valve actuation mechanisms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dennis Gallagher as President.
As president, Gallagher will direct all facets of JVS’s global operations while meeting the customers’ and JVS’s short- and long-term strategic initiatives.

Gallagher’s background consists of over 25 years of experience within Danaher and Fortive companies including Dover, Danaher Motion, and Pacific Scientific in which he held various positions of increasing responsibility ranging from engineering, sales, and marketing. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager for Kollmorgen in the European, Middle Eastern, African, and Indian markets while residing in Germany.

Gallagher, originally from Boston, MA, is a graduate of the University of Lowell with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
