Jacobs Vehicle Systems, a worldwide manufacturer of diesel engine retarding and valve actuation systems, recently named Quarlink Corporation the company’s 2018 Supplier of the Year. Presented during the annual Jacobs Supplier Conference, the award recognises a company that demonstrates outstanding performance primarily in the areas of quality, delivery and cost.
Roughly 120 suppliers are reviewed every year by a cross-functional panel of Jacobs’ engineers, managers, buyers, directors and quality professionals who review performance, nominate candidates and make final selections.
Based in Tunglo Hsiang, Taiwan, Quarlink has been supplying Jacobs with precision machined components for more than 16 years and was also named 2013 Supplier of the Year. Jacobs’ engine brakes with Quarlink components are used in North America, Europe, China and the Asia Pacific region.
