Viessmann’s involvement complements its sponsorship of the HIP Female Skills Competition, for a second year.
During January and February, the competition will travel across six regions of England and Wales, attracting Level 2 and 3 plumbing and heating learners from colleges nationwide.
Regional heats start on 16th January with the Grand Final to be held later in the spring.
Emma-Louise Bennett, Active Transition Support Lead at Viessmann, said: “Competitions such as HIP’s Learner of the Year award draw much-needed focus to the importance of skills for the future of the British heating industry. We’re delighted to be part of both Learner of the Year and the Female Skills Competition. Learning is not just for college, of course, and we look forward to showcasing the ongoing training in boilers and renewable technologies available to installers via The Viessmann Academy.”
